Quietly turning out some of 2008’s finest deep house, techno and sublime downbeat electronica, Pete’s quickly acquired a tag marked ‘hot property’ via a flurry of productions with his different studio partners James Doman (Doman & Gooding ‘Dig This’), Steve Miller (No Logo ‘Dark Star, ‘Mindset’) and Phil Dockerty (Dockerty & Gooding), Christian Sol & John Moss ('Second Game') breaking into numerous A-list DJ Top 10’s and Beatport charts alike.

Cited as a "world class dj and producer, destined for great things" by Roger Sanchez, and "one of the most versatile dj and producers in the world, with a musical ear few can match" by Pete Tong, Gooding is the archetypal music man and revered by his peers for an output that stretches from achingly good electronica to techie floor-driven cuts. 

An enormously expansive music collection, combined with a refusal to be pigeonholed, means Gooding never channels his musical exploits in one direction. Depending on where you see him he’ll be dropping alt rock or deep house one minute, and rocking the floor of Space, Pacha, Renaissance, or Ministry Of Sound the next. He’s also one of the few Brits to be booked year after year for the legendary ambient electronica event Stella Polaris (alongside Groove Armada, Tom Middleton, and Trentemoller). Outside of both the studio and the DJ booth, it’s his breadth of musical knowledge and ear for the latest cuts that has seen Gooding’s radio show become a worldwide force, broadcast by over 10 stations across the planet, including Global Radio in Ibiza (Thursday night), Ministry Of Sound Radio (Friday & Sunday nights).
