Tom Middleton is one of the heavy-weights of the electronica scene.
He began his musical career with a friendship to Richard D. James aka The Aphex Twin back in 1989 when Middleton coproduced the Aphex Twin EP, Analogue Bubblebath.
Middleton has since collaborated with Mark Pritchard under different pseudonymns, but it was their 1996 debut album New School Science that was the turning point for him. The album is claimed to be a source of inspiration for major acts such as The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Daft Punk, and The Freestylers.
What a legacy!
Also when it comes to remixes, Middleton has done it all. He is known for his remixes of everybody from Depeche Mode and Pulp to Eddy Grant.
